The objective of this program was to create an ergonomically superior corded drill for use in tight areas. Using a compact right angle gearbox and moving the motor below the grip area with an extended drive shaft enabled a design with a grip size that was comfortable for a variety of users and still offer 3.2 Amps of power to handle tough jobs. Controls are easily accessible with one hand operation to control variable speed and forward / reverse.  Sioux Tools supplied the product to Craftsman for their professional line of power tools.
