Racine, WI – DeltaHawk, Inc. manufactures lightweight turbo-diesel engines for the aviation industry and must adhere to stringent requirements to receive FAA certifications.  BSI’s strengths in design, engineering, simulation and testing have proved critical to pass this rigorous testing.

We have been working with DeltaHawk utilizing non-linear and transient FEA combined with multi-body dynamics.  Currently, DeltaHawk and BSI are collaborating to ensure durability of the turbocharged exhaust system.   Our approach is to engineer and optimize a new bracketing system in order to increase stiffness, reduce vibrations, and minimize stress. Once again, BSI helps a company continue to soar.
