Brooks Stevens, Inc Contributes Time and Talent to the Product Development and Innovation Community

Milwaukee, WI-As a Milwaukee-based product development firm, Brooks Stevens is committed to keeping innovation alive in its community.  Company President, George Konstantakis is not only the local Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) President but also now serves on the planning council of MiKE (Innovation in Milwaukee), a community initiative that seeks to unite schools, businesses and innovation leaders under the common goal: to cultivate creativity, connections and economic development.  June 6-June 11th is MiKE’s “Innovation Week” and we hope to see you at some of the public events.

Meanwhile, BSI assisted Muskego High School to have their on-going project “Lead the Way” re-certified which will help continue fostering students in the areas of design and engineering.  We have worked with MHS since 2006, giving students tours, lectures and hands-on tutorial sessions.  It’s just another way for Brooks Stevens to invest in the future of innovation.

Brooks Stevens, Inc’s community involvement extends beyond Milwaukee.  Our St. Paul branch recently hosted the Twin Cities’ chapter SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) where Brooks Stevens’ rich history in the automotive industry was highlighted along with more recent design and engineering accomplishments.  In related news, a BSI representative attended the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) Midwest Conference in Chicago to make connections and follow new trends in Industrial Design.  Meanwhile, another BSI employee attended the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas to network and track trends within that industry.
